| Luka was my fourth Siberian to join my small pack. After running a 2 dog team for a couple of seasons I decided to expand to a 3 dog team and had been waiting for a boy pup to become available from Forstal kennels. Luka joined us after 2 years of waiting and boy did we know it! He is the smallest of all the boys but what he lacks in size he makes up for in attitude, being the most confident and talkative one of them all, he always has something to say, a characteristic inherited from his sire and grandsire! From the moment he came home he made it clear that he had no intentions of being bottom of the pack just because he was the youngest and smallest and with a completely benevolent approach, without any obvious aggression and scuffles he subtly became alpha male at a very young age, gaining the respect of the other boys through his strong, confident attitude. |

Luka made his debut on the trail in the 2005/2006 season and has made a positive contribution to my team. He is a very strong little worker and despite his smaller size has no problems keeping up with the big boys, matching their strength and speed effortlessly. He has fantastic attitude and drive, always giving 100% and always keeping the gang line taut. He showed leader potential from a young age and has grown into a very reliable lead dog. | |
