Rally Results 2006/07

Unfortunately only a few races entered this season as relocation meant a temporary halt to training and with limited training only very few rallies were entered, the ones that we did go to were for more socialising than competing! The highlight of our brief season was Quithell rally organised by the Scottish club. Had never been to this rally before and was pleased to find a good trail and excellent entertainment in the form of Ewan and his DJ skills with a BBQ and bonfire thrown in for good measure! Was extremely surprised and very pleased when the boys (with no help for me at all given my “delicate” state from the previous night) charged round the course on the first day taking 3rd place! Unfortunately lack of fitness and stamina prevented the boys from maintaining this position and they slipped right down in the results. However it showed me what they are still capable of and hopefully once the cooler weather returns they can regain their condition.
